COVID-19 Update & Safety Measures

(please read in entirety)

Dear Clients and Families,

We at Wholistic Therapeutic Services, LLC have been closely monitoring the rapidly evolving developments relating to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Our highest priority is the health and well-being of our clients and Therapeutic Team/Staff.

We wanted to let you know the precautions and appropriate steps we are taking at this time to ensure that we remain a healthy environment for our clients and their families.

We are staying actively informed of the most up to date recommendations from the CDC and the DPH. These agencies recommend regular cleaning, public awareness of precautions and small gatherings in waiting areas, as one of the most important preventive measures we can take. This includes sanitizing our therapeutic offices after each session, our waiting room at lunch and close of the day, restrooms, all door handles inside our facility, toys, etc. Please be advised that we need to have a few moments in between session to complete this sanitation. We ask that all clients maintain patience during this time as your safety and the safety of our clinicians is very important to us.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are requesting only clients and the responsible adult wait in the waiting area until further notice. To accommodate this, we will allow guardians of children under the age of 16 to wait in the vehicle with younger siblings and request that you bring appropriate entertainment for these children, as our sessions times will remain the same. You also have the option of staying in your vehicle and we will release the child to your vehicle. As another note, you may stay in your vehicle prior to sessions and we will come to the door to let you know we are ready for sessions so please watch the door if you choose this option. If the waiting area is full, we are requesting you sit in your car.

We also ask that you notify the staff PRIOR to coming to your appointment if you or your child are sick, allowing us to decide as to whether your appointment should be rescheduled for a future date. Please note that there will be no late cancellation fees during this time for sick cancellations.

We at Wholistic are committed to continuing to provide you with the best mental health care possible. Therefore, we are offering Tele-Mental Health Services via two HIPPA compliant platforms. If you would like to remain at home, but still attend your therapeutic session, please speak with your therapist today so that we may process your request. Please note, some clients are not candidates for this platform of therapy, however, during this time of concern, we will work to wave any issues related to Tele-Mental Health.

Wholistic Therapeutic Services, LLC is committed to helping our Clients. Therefore, our office location will remain open until further notice and we will continue to take precautions and preventive measures to keep our office clean and healthy for your visit. We are requesting that all persons utilize hand sanitizer and/or healthy hand hygiene upon arrival and upon departure from our office. We are also requesting proper handwashing while utilizing our Restroom facilities.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the risk of infection remains low for the general public in our State and Across the United States. However, we must take all precautions to ensure healthy and reasonable practices.

Preventive Measures

The CDC recommends the following to avoid spreading COVID-19:

• Stay home when you are sick with influenza-like illness.

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

• Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes.

• Cover your coughs and sneezes.

• Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.

• Keep frequently touched common surfaces clean, i.e., telephones, computer equipment, etc.

• Do not use other workers’ phones, desks, office, or other work tools and equipment; if necessary, consider cleaning them first with a disinfectant.

• If you are experiencing symptoms, please contact your Primary Doctor via telephone. Our office does not complete any medical assessments.

We provide a safe space for you and your family to receive mental health and wellness and will continue to monitor this developing situation closely and comply with recommendations and instructions from our local and state health departments. Please call our office with any questions as we are here to help you in any way we can. Please follow us on Facebook as we will update about any closings or changes to our schedule.

Please note, communication through facebook is not HIPPA complaint so please contact via the information stated above.
